Vision & Interaction Model

What we're building, and the shape members actually move through.

The macro, one paragraph

A frontier, AI-native learning platform fused to a high-end premium community — a place members log into and stay in. They learn (structured courses → professional certification), they post (self-recorded video + external video embeds), they talk (boards, live events, direct messages), and they belong (a vetted, paid "country club" with real admission). AI is woven through all of it — a curated front door, a tutor, an authoring assistant, and a "talk to the platform" natural-language layer — powered by the existing estate, which is the moat. It runs on dedicated iron we own, behind one login and one member identity, with depth gated by tier.

The interaction stack — a stack, not a single spine

The product is a stack of surfaces, each doing one job, layered by depth. A member enters at the top and descends as far as their tier allows.

AI-CURATED HOME ── universal front door. Kills the firehose. One feed, ranked by │ an agent over the member's tier-visible world. THE MOAT. ▼ THREADED BOARDS ── substance. Long-form, searchable, tagged, durable Q&A + discussion. │ The accumulated knowledge that makes the community worth paying for. ▼ LIVE EVENTS ── heartbeat. Scheduled sessions (not always-on voice). The reason to │ show up on a cadence; recorded → become content + board threads. ▼ DIRECT MESSAGES ── utility. Member↔member + group DMs. Low ceremony, high trust. │ ▼ TIERS GATE DEPTH ── every surface above is filtered by the member's tier. The front is open; the room and the table are earned / paid.

Design consequences that fall out of this

The pivotal finding. The chosen learning core is a strong LMS but its community is course-attached only. Absent: global forum, member directory, feeds/follows, member↔member DMs / group chat, events, notifications, real-time. The community + messaging + AI layer is ours to design and own on top — and that's where the estate becomes the moat.
